Otosan® ear candle

The Otosan® ear candle is equipped with four safety devices and the patented Comfy® applicator.It creates a chimney effect that helps remove ear wax or ear plugs.The candle contains beneficial propolis, a natural substance produced by bees and has positive properties.Propolis has a general probiotic effect and has a protective function for the ear.When burned, it releases volatile substances that penetrate the ear canal and strengthen the ears' natural defenses.It also promotes blood circulation.

The chimney effect of the Otosan® ear candle is created by lighting the candle in the ear.This creates a downward draft of air, which creates a slight excess pressure.After half of the candle has burned, the draft changes upwards, resulting in a release of pressure.By alternating the pressure conditions, in addition to removing the earwax, the blood circulation in the ear is also promoted and the lymph flow is stimulated.The cleansing effect and soothing warmth of the ear candle can help with complaints such as ringing and ringing in the ears, background noise and fluctuating ear pressure.It is also suitable after a stay in the mountains, air travel or diving to help equalize pressure.

Application

1. Insert the narrow part of the candle 1 cm deep into the Comfy® applicator.Make sure there is no other Comfy® applicator inside the candle.

2. Insert the cone into the protective disc (silver side up) up to below the flame stop ring.Light the wider side of the cone.

3. Place your head on a flat pillow and gently insert the Comfy® applicator into your ear.Make sure that the cone is always vertical.

4. When the candle has burned to the flame stop ring, carefully remove it from the ear and extinguish it in a glass of water.Repeat the treatment on the other ear.
