Nux vomica-Homaccord ad us.vet.is a registered homeopathic medicine that is used without specifying a therapeutic indication.A veterinary examination should be carried out before use.This product is intended exclusively for pets and should not be given to food-producing animals.No prescription is required for this product.

Target species include dogs, cats, horses, cattle, pigs, sheep and goats.The waiting period for edible tissues is zero days for horses, cattle, pigs, sheep and goats.For horses, cattle, sheep and goats, the waiting time for milk is zero hours.

Active ingredients and ingredients

An ampoule with a volume of 5 ml (corresponding to 5 g) contains the following active ingredients: Strychnos nux-vomica in various dilutions (D4, D10, D15, D30, D200, D1000) each with 10 mg, Bryonia in various dilutions (D4, D6, D10, D15, D30, D200, D1000) also each with10 mg, Lycopodium clavatum in various dilutions (D5, D10, D30, D200, D1000) with 15 mg each and Citrullus colocynthis in various dilutions (D5, D10, D30, D200) with 15 mg each.Components 1 to 22 are raised to the power together over the last two stages.

The other ingredients include sodium chloride and water for injections.

Application and dosage

Nux vomica-Homaccord ad us.vet.is injected subcutaneously.The single dose varies depending on the animal species: horses, cattle and pigs receive 5 ml each, piglets 2-3 ml, sheep and goats 2 ml, large dogs 3-4 ml, medium dogs 2 ml, small dogs and cats 1-2 ml and puppies 0.5-1 ml. If necessary, the dose can be repeated after 12 or 24 hours, depending on the severity of the case.In the case of chronic illnesses or a tendency to relapse, the single dose can be administered at intervals of 4 days.

An injection of this medicine should only be carried out by veterinarians or other persons who are confident in the respective injection technique.
