Other ingredients: Citric acid, potassium bicarbonate, maltodextrin, mannitol, sodium carbonate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium cyclamate, sodium bicarbonate, rice starch, saccharin sodium, lemon flavor (consisting of sorbitol, mannitol, D-glucono-1,5-lactone, maltodextrin, Arabic gum and lemon flavor).

Contraindications

Magnesium-Sandoz® 243 mg effervescent tablets must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to magnesium oxide or one of the other ingredients, if you have kidney dysfunction, if you have cardiac conduction disorders, if you have myasthenia gravis, if you have severe water loss or if you have certain urinary stone diseases.

Dosage

The dosage depends on the degree of magnesium deficiency.The average daily dose is 1-2 effervescent tablets (243-486 mg magnesium ions).Children aged 6 and over should take one effervescent tablet once a day, while teenagers and adults can take one effervescent tablet 1-2 times a day.In severe cases of magnesium deficiency, higher doses may be required under medical supervision.

The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the magnesium deficiency.Long-term high-dose magnesium intake should be monitored by a doctor.

Intake

Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink the entire contents.The effervescent tablet can be divided into equal halves.
