Binko® 240 mg film-coated tablets contain a dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves and are used to improve age-related cognitive impairment and quality of life in mild dementia. The recommended dose for adults and elderly patients is 1/2 film-coated tablet twice daily. The tablets should be swallowed whole and can be taken independently of meals. The treatment should last at least 8 weeks. There is no relevant indication for children and adolescents. The medicine must not be taken if there is an allergy to ginkgo biloba extract or during pregnancy. The possible side effects are headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, lower abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. There are no sufficient studies on the effects on pregnancy and breastfeeding, so it is not recommended to take it during this time. Before taking, possible allergies and intolerances to certain ingredients should be taken into account. Storage should be below 30 °C and the medicinal product should not be used after the expiry date.
