BD MICRO-FINE+ is a pen needle measuring 0.25 mm x 8 mm. It was developed to improve insulin delivery and is latex-free. These needles fit all pens used to treat diabetes and should only be used once or they may become blunt. Re-use can lead to hardening of the subcutaneous fat tissue, making it difficult for the insulin to be absorbed, which can affect blood glucose control. There are several pens that these needles fit, such as.
