Directions for use ZeckEx SpotOn vet. ZeckEx SpotOn vet is a herbal repellent that provides long-lasting protection against ticks and other insects. It contains purely herbal ingredients and is suitable for all vertebrates, including cats and young dogs. In addition, it provides protection against fleas, mites, hair lice and flying insects such as mosquitoes and horseflies. Use on rodents and horses requires specific application instructions. For rodents, it is recommended to apply one drop to the back of the neck and rub in twice a week over a period of three weeks. For horses, it is recommended to rub one drop into the girth, the rear inner thighs and the base of the ear over a period of three weeks. After the basic stabilisation, a weekly application is sufficient. For application, it is recommended to put one drop daily on the finger and massage it into both ear cones or to put one drop each between the shoulder blades and at the base of the tail on the skin. After basic stabilisation, 1-2 applications per week are sufficient, depending on body weight. In case of a heavy regional tick burden, the application can be adjusted individually to 4-5 times. ZeckEx SpotOn is basically waterproof, but should be reapplied after shampooing. It contains geraniol, which can cause allergic reactions. The composition of ZeckEx SpotOn vet includes organic coconut oil, black cumin oil, jojoba oil, lavender oil and manuka oil. The active ingredient geraniol is contained at a concentration of 3.0 g/L.
