Cetirizine Vividrin 10 mg Film-Coated Tablets are an anti-allergy medicine used to relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to relieve urticaria (hives). The active ingredient, cetirizine dihydrochloride, works by inhibiting the release of histamine in the body, thereby relieving allergic symptoms. The film-coated tablets can be taken by adults as well as by children from 6 years of age. The dosage depends on the age and is 10 mg once a day for adults and 5 mg twice a day for children between 6 and 12 years. The tablets are taken with a glass of water and work within 45 minutes for up to 24 hours. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness and tiredness.
