Instructions for use for EMSER Nasal rinsing salt physiological sachet, 20 pcs
Instructions for use of the article Emser Nasal Rinsing Salt physiological: Emser Nasal Rinsing Salt is a medical product for the preparation of an isotonic nasal rinsing solution. It is used to moisten, cleanse and support the function of the nasal mucosa. Emser Nasal Rinsing Salt is used to rinse the nose. It is particularly useful when there is increased exposure to dust and dirt, increased mucus and crust formation, as well as in times of increased risk of infection with colds. Allergy sufferers are also recommended to rinse their noses regularly, especially before going to bed when there is a pollen count. Furthermore, nasal rinsing is suitable for moistening the nasal mucosa, e.g. in dry air caused by air conditioning or heating. Emser Nasal Rinsing Salt is used by dissolving one sachet in 250 ml of warm water. The water should not be warmer than 50°C and should be at least drinking water quality. The Emser nasal douche is recommended for rinsing. Nasal rinsing can be done up to 3 times a day, but usually one application per day is sufficient. For long-term rinsing therapies, rinsing every 2 to 3 days has also proven to be effective. It is important to maintain the correct concentration of the rinsing solution, as solutions that are too high or too low in concentration can lead to irritation and side effects. Emser nasal rinsing salt always produces an isotonic saline solution as prescribed. Emser Nasal Rinsing Salts should not be used if there are direct connections to the fluid spaces of the brain or in the case of severe nosebleeds. It can be used indefinitely, provided the correct concentration is maintained. In very rare cases, mild irritation such as tingling and burning in the nose may occur. The rinsing solutions should only be used immediately after preparation, as Emser Nasal Rinsing Salts do not contain any preservatives and the solution can germinate quickly. Emser Nasal Rinsing Salts should not be used after the expiry date. It should always be stored out of the reach of children. Emser Nasal Rinsing Salt contains a mineral salt mixture with 5% natural Emser salt. It contains no chemical additives to preserve or improve the flow properties. The natural Emser salt contains valuable minerals and trace elements in unique balance and purity. The origin of the salt from the depths of the earth means that it is well tolerated and enhances the effectiveness of the mechanical rinsing treatments of the nasal mucous membrane. I have been using this nasal rinsing salt for many, many years. Perfectly portioned for the nasal douche from the pharmacy. Very practical as you always have the right amount and can't get too much salt, which would be very bad for the sinuses. Great product.

Despite preventative use, I have now become ill with an infection. Would still recommend the product as it moisturises the nasal walls and that can't do any harm. Easy to use and very well tolerated. Tip: shake the salt in the nasal douche long enough to prevent it from settling at the bottom and then flowing through the nose in concentrated form. It then stings unpleasantly for a short time. Tested for you ;)
