Information for use of the article Deslora - 1 A Pharma in allergic rhinitis: - Deslora - 1 A Pharma is an anti-allergic medicine used to treat allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever) and urticaria (hives). - The active substance desloratadine belongs to the group of antihistamines and works by inhibiting the release and binding of histamine. - Deslora - 1 A Pharma helps with typical symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate and itchy, red or watery eyes. - The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is one film-coated tablet once a day with water, regardless of the meal. - The duration of treatment depends on the type of allergic rhinitis and is determined by the doctor. - Side effects may include dry mouth, headache and tiredness. - Deslora - 1 A Pharma should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or if there is impaired kidney function, seizures or in children under 12 years of age. - Use is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding. - The film-coated tablet should be stored away from light and should not be used after the expiry date. - For more information, see the package leaflet or ask your doctor or pharmacist.
