Ginkgo-Maren 240 mg film-coated tablets contain an extract of ginkgo leaves and are used to improve age-related cognitive impairment and quality of life in mild dementia. The recommended dose for adults is 1 film-coated tablet 1 time daily. The film-coated tablet can be divided into two halves to make it easier to take. The medicine should be taken with plenty of liquid. Children and adolescents under 18 years of age and persons with impaired kidney / liver function should not use the medicine. The duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks and should be reviewed by a doctor after 3 months. The medicine should be stored away from heat. It contains ginkgo leaf dry extract and other excipients. There may be side effects such as headache, dizziness, diarrhoea and nausea. People who are allergic to ginkgo biloba or any of the ingredients or who are pregnant should not take the medicine.
