The Cellacare® Malleo Classic is a knitted bandage with a compression effect that can improve proprioception.It has silicone pads on both sides that create a massage effect.The bandage can be worn on both the right and left ankle.

Areas of application

The Cellacare® Malleo Classic is used for upper ankle ligament injuries (grade 1), mild chronic ligament instability and mild local and general hypermobility.It is also suitable for osteoarthritis, arthritis, perimalleolar swelling, joint effusion and intra-articular irritation.

Application

To put on the Cellacare® Malleo Classic correctly, fold the upper part of the bandage outwards up to the silicone insert.Grab the bandage in the middle of the silicone insoles and pull it over the foot until the heel part fits snugly.Fold the top part of the bandage back and pull it up if necessary.Make sure the silicone insoles fit properly on both sides of the ankle.

Notes

Only use Cellacare® Malleo Classic if directed by a doctor.When using the product for the first time, patients must be shown how to put it on correctly by trained specialist staff.The bandage should not be worn during long periods of rest.It is washable at 30°C, should not be ironed, bleached, machine dried or dry cleaned.
