The Klosterfrau Cough & throat lozenges contain a special combination of natural extracts that help with cough and throat problems.Each lozenge consists of 25 mg mallow extract and 25 mg ribwort plantain extract.The following ingredients are also included: isomalt, maltitol syrup, water, citric acid, aroma (geranium oil, menthol, gentian extract), grape juice concentrate and sucralose.These ingredients work together to soothe and protect irritated mucous membranes.

Mode of action

The Klosterfrau Cough & throat lozenges work in four ways for cough and throat problems thanks to the combination of ribwort plantain and mallow.In the first phase, the mallow smoothes the irritated mucous membranes.In the second phase, the liquid core of ribwort plantain forms a protective film over the stressed mucous membranes and protects the throat from additional external stimuli.This relieves the urge to cough and creates a balm-like effect on the irritated mucous membranes.

Dosage

The recommended use for Klosterfrau Cough & throat lozenges is as follows: Children aged 6 years and over and adults can initially suck one lozenge every hour, then every 2-3 hours if necessary.The maximum daily dose is 6 lozenges for adults and 3 lozenges for children aged 6 years and over.
