Plenvu is a powder for the preparation of an oral solution. It is used for bowel preparation before clinical procedures that require a clean bowel. The medicine contains the active ingredients macrogol 3350, sodium ascorbate, sodium sulphate, ascorbic acid, sodium chloride and potassium chloride. It cleanses the intestines by causing diarrhoea. It is taken according to the instructions in the package leaflet, and the dose can be taken in two parts. No solid food should be consumed during and after taking Plenvu. Plenvu should be kept away from children, stored below 30 °C and used before the expiry date. Further information on dosage, use and possible side effects can be found in the package leaflet.
