Introducing the AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu

The AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu is an inhalation aid specifically designed to facilitate the inhalation of aerosols with a metered dose inhaler.It ensures that a larger amount of the active ingredient reaches the lungs.This inhaler aid is equipped with many useful features that enable safe and easy inhalation while monitoring correct use.

No prescription is required for this product.

Intended use

The AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu enables easy and safe inhalation with a metered dose aerosol prescribed by your doctor.The aerosol is released into the antistatic chamber of the AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu and can be easily inhaled there without having to coordinate breathing and the release of the metered dose aerosol.

Using the inhaler aid

Before each use, you should ensure that the instructions and the instructions for use provided with the metered dose aerosol have been read.Before each use, carefully inspect the chamber and remove any foreign objects that may be present.Replace damaged or missing parts immediately.

The inhaler aid can be used straight out of the packaging.Remove the caps from the inhalation aid and the metered dose aerosol.Shake the metered dose aerosol immediately before use according to the enclosed instructions for use.Insert the metered dose aerosol into the back of the inhaler aid.Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and wrap your lips around it to create an effective seal.

Exhale and then release a spray at the beginning of the inhalation.Breathe in slowly and deeply through the inhaler until a full breath has been taken.Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds before exhaling.Alternatively, you can exhale and then release a spray at the beginning of a slow breath.Breathe in and out through the inhaler device for 2 - 3 breaths, keeping your lips tightly closed around the inhaler device mouthpiece.

Notes

Slow down when you hear the whistle sound as this means you are breathing in too quickly.The Flow-Vu Breathing Indicator can help coordinate MDI release with breathing, count the number of breaths inhaled, and ensure a good seal with Flow-Vu.The indicator moves toward the patient when inhaling, but only if the Flow-Vu respiratory indicator is well sealed.Only 1 spray should be given into the inhaler aid per use.Read the instructions for use included with the metered dose inhaler carefully and follow them.

Cleaning instructions

The AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu can be used immediately and should then be cleaned weekly.Remove the back and twist the inhaler to remove the front.Remove the mouthpiece cap.

The parts should be soaked in a solution of a little dishwashing detergent and lukewarm clean water for 15 minutes.Gently move back and forth and then rinse the parts with clean water.The items can also be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher, making sure the product is placed securely facing upwards.Run the dishwasher on a normal or light cycle and avoid heated drying.

Shake off excess water and allow the pieces to air dry in a vertical position.Make sure the parts are dry before reassembling.To assemble, attach the front section to the end of the inhaler aid and twist firmly until it is locked in position.The protective cap should always be placed on the mouthpiece when the inhaler aid is not in use.Align the alignment mark on the back with the Flow-Vu breathing indicator and press firmly to ensure a snug fit of the back.

If you have any questions about how the AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu inhaler works or can be used, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.The product should not be boiled or sterilized.It should be replaced with a new one after 12 months of use.The inhaler aid does not contain latex, bisphenol A (BPA), phthalate, lead or PVC.This medical device should not be shared with another person.Medication residues in the inhaler aid can be removed with a soft cloth.Washing with heavily soiled dishes is not recommended.Rinse aid should be used when cleaning in a dishwasher.

Precautions

Children should not play with the AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu inhaler device unsupervised.The inhaler aid can be permanently damaged if it is boiled, sterilized or cleaned in the dishwasher at temperatures above 70°C.
