Lioran centra are coated tablets with the active ingredient passionflower dry extract. They are traditionally used to improve the state of mind during nervous stress and to promote sleep. The medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product registered for the area of application exclusively on the basis of many years of use. It must not be taken if there is an allergy to passionflower or any of the other ingredients of the medicinal product. Particular caution should be exercised in the event of persistent symptoms or undesirable side effects, in which case a doctor or qualified person should be consulted. The medicinal product should not be used in children under 12 years of age. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products, but no study has been carried out in this respect. Use of the medicinal product is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation. Persons taking the medicinal product should not drive vehicles or operate machinery as the ability to react may be impaired. There are no known side effects, but any disturbances of well-being should be reported to the doctor or pharmacist. The medicinal product contains glucose and sucrose, therefore persons with sugar intolerance should only take it after consulting a doctor. The usual dosage for adolescents from 12 years and adults is 1-2 coated tablets per day. The tablets should be taken unchewed and with sufficient liquid. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted. Persons with liver or kidney dysfunction should consult a doctor as there is insufficient data to recommend the dosage. The medicinal product should be kept away from heat and out of the reach of children.
