Accuracy and reliability

The device features high-speed pulse sampling that samples heart rate five times more frequently than other blood pressure monitors.This allows it to effectively detect arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, which can lead to serious health problems if left untreated.The M-Cuff cuff design enables even more precise determination of blood pressure and makes the measuring process more comfortable and faster, as the measurement is taken while the cuff is being inflated.If there is an arrhythmia, the device emits an optical signal.

Area of application

The Visomat handy express wrist blood pressure monitor is intended for the non-invasive self-measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, the determination of the pulse rate and the calculation of the pulse pressure in people aged 12 and over.It uses the oscillometric method to measure blood pressure and pulse rate.

The device offers clinically validated measurement accuracy according to EN ISO 81060-2:2014, display of atrial fibrillation and other cardiac arrhythmias, high-speed pulse scanning for more precise measurements, a pre-shaped M-cuff cuff construction for precise scanning of both arteries, a shortened measuring process by measuring during inflation, movement, cuff fit and pulse pressure control, a traffic light function for easy classificationof blood pressure values, date/time display and two user memories for 120 measured values each with average display.
