The OMRON RS7 Intelli IT offers discrete and silent measurements that can be taken whenever and wherever.Smart blood pressure monitoring with OMRON connect enables the latest measurement results to be automatically transmitted to the smartphone via Bluetooth.The app OMRON connect, certified by the German Hochdruckliga e.V. as a “digital health assistant”, is available for iOS and Android.

The LEDpositioning sensor and cuff fit control ensure accurate measurement results.The device detects irregular heartbeats and indicates if they were detected during the measurement.It offers 100 storage spaces for two users each.

The RS7 Intelli IT is the first OMRON wrist blood pressure monitor clinically validated for obesity.Obesity is a leading cause of high blood pressure and accounts for over 65% of the risk of high blood pressure.In obese people with large arm circumferences, inaccuracies can occur due to the increased distance between the artery and the measuring zone.Therefore, measurement with wrist devices is recommended.

Application

To ensure accurate readings, you should follow the instructions below:

1. Avoid bathing, drinking alcohol and caffeine, smoking, exercising and eating 30 minutes before the measurement.

2. Rest for at least 5 minutes before measuring.

3. Avoid taking measurements at stressful times as stress can increase blood pressure.

4. Take the measurements in a quiet place.

5. Free your arm.

6. Keep records of your blood pressure and pulse readings for your doctor.A single measurement does not reflect an accurate picture of your true blood pressure.Take multiple measurements over a period of time and record the measurements.Try to measure your blood pressure at the same time every day for consistent results.
