Dermaveel® is a cream specifically designed to nourish and soothe sensitive skin prone to eczema or affected by neurodermatitis.The cream can help relieve itching, redness and dry skin and is suitable for both children and adults.Dermaveel® has been dermatologically tested and is free of parabens, perfume and cortisone.It supports the regeneration of damaged skin areas and is suitable for long-term treatment.

The cream contains 5.5% ectoine, a natural cell protection molecule that stores water in the skin and provides dry skin with the necessary moisture.Ectoine binds almost twice as much water as urea (urea) and thus helps to relieve itching.The cream is vegan and contains no microplastics.

Mode of action

Dermaveel® cream with ectoine is characterized by a special composition.It contains 5.5% ectoine, a natural cell protection molecule that stores water in the skin, replenishing dry skin with the necessary moisture and thus relieving itching.Ectoine binds almost twice as much water as urea.

Contraindications

Dermaveel must not be used if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ectoine or any of the other ingredients or if the skin is affected by infections.

Dosage

Unless otherwise directed, use Dermaveel twice daily or as often as necessary.Apply the cream to the affected area and massage gently until completely absorbed into the skin.If well tolerated, Dermaveel is suitable for long-term treatment.If the symptoms worsen or do not improve even after long-term treatment, stop treatment and contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy

Dermaveel® cream with ectoine should only be used if pregnancy is suspected, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding after consulting a doctor or pharmacist.There are no data on the use of Dermaveel during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Notes

Do not use the pack after the expiry date stated on the carton and tube.Once opened, the cream has a shelf life of 3 months.Store the cream between 2°C and 25°C and keep it out of the reach of children.

Application

Dermaveel® can be applied to the affected skin twice a day and as often as necessary and gently massaged in.

How is ectoine different from urea?Ectoine has almost twice as much water-binding capacity as urea.An ectoine molecule binds about seven water molecules, whereas a urea molecule can only bind about four water molecules.
