Macucap AMD capsules are specifically designed for dietary management of age-related macular degeneration (AMD).It is a food for special medical purposes that serves as a supplementary balanced diet.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The Macucap AMD capsules contain a variety of active ingredients and ingredients.The MacuCap®LMZ capsule - carotenoids consists of sunflower oil, a carotenoid preparation with meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin, as well as other ingredients such as beef gelatin, annatto as a coloring agent, glycerin, water and beeswax.The carotenoids come from the extract of marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta).

The MacuCap® capsule vitamins + minerals contains vitamin C (ascorbic acid), vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol), beef gelatin, glycerin, sorbitol, colorings such as iron oxides and hydroxides, vegetable oils and fats (palm, rapeseed), lecithins (sunflower) and copper (copper (II) gluconate).

Nutritional Information

The daily dosage is three capsules, consisting of one capsule of carotenoids and two capsules of vitamins + minerals.The product contains 10 mg meso-zeaxanthin, 10 mg lutein, 2 mg zeaxanthin, 500 mg vitamin C, 400 IU vitamin E, 2 mg copper and 25 mg zinc per daily dose.The calorific value is 44 kJ (10.5 kcal) per daily dose.It also contains 780 mg fat, 210 mg carbohydrates, 340 mg protein and 0.48 mg salt.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

The recommended use of Macucap AMD capsules is to take one red-brown MacuCap®LMZ capsule - carotenoids and two black-brown MacuCap® capsules - vitamins + minerals daily, preferably during a meal with liquid, without chewing.
