Heparin AbZ is an ointment that is used to reduce swelling.It is used as a supportive treatment for acute swelling following blunt injuries such as bruises and bruises.The ointment can also be used for superficial phlebitis if it cannot be treated with compression.However, the primary therapeutic measure for superficial phlebitis of the lower limbs is compression treatment.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The ointment contains 60,000 IE heparin, sodium salt (from pig) as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are cetyl alcohol, dexpanthenol, glycerol (mono/di) (palmitate/stearate) sodium stearate (95:5), glycerol (mono/di/tri) alkanoate (C12-C18), perfume oil, hydrochloric acid 25%, petroleum jelly, white, water, purified and potassium sorbate.

Dosage

The recommended dose is to apply the ointment evenly to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily.If used under a bandage, the ointment should be applied thickly and then the ointment bandage applied.Unless otherwise prescribed, the ointment must not be used for longer than 10 days.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Intake

Apply the ointment evenly to the affected area.If used under a bandage, you should apply the ointment thickly and then apply the ointment bandage.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to heparin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The preparation must also not be used if you have an acute or a history of allergic fall in the number of blood platelets (thrombocytopenia type II) caused by heparin.

Patient information

Particular care is required when using it.The ointment should not be applied to open wounds or weeping eczema.If new symptoms appear that may indicate a thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, such as swelling and a feeling of warmth in the affected part of the body, red and tense skin, possibly blue discoloration, a feeling of tension and pain in the foot, calf and back of the knee (relief when elevated), sudden shortness of breath, chest pain and weakness/collapse, the presence of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia type II must be ruled out and the blood platelet count must be checked immediately(platelet count) can be checked.Stop using the product and tell your doctor immediately.

There are no known effects on the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

Previous experience with use in pregnant and breastfeeding women has shown no evidence of harmful effects.Heparin does not cross the placenta and does not pass into breast milk.

The ointment contains cetyl alcohol, potassium sorbate and a fragrance with 3-methyl-4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-yl)but-3-en-2-one, 2-benzylidenheptanal, 2-benzylidenheptan-1-ol, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl (2-hydroxybenzoate), cinnamaldehyde,3-Phenylprop-2-en-1-ol, Citral, Cintronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, D-Limonene, 2-Benzylidene Octanal, 7-Hydroxy-3,7-dimethyloctanal, Isoeugenol, Linalool and Oakmoss.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
