Instructions for use for HEPARIN AbZ 60.000 Ointment, 100 g

Summary: Heparin AbZ 60,000 ointment is used for the supportive treatment of swelling after injuries (bruises, haematomas) and superficial phlebitis. The ointment is applied evenly to the affected area 2-3 times a day. When used under a bandage, the ointment is applied thickly and then an ointment bandage is applied. The duration of application should not exceed 10 days. Before use, it should be checked whether there is any hypersensitivity to heparin or the other ingredients of the ointment. If symptoms of thrombosis or pulmonary embolism occur, further examinations should be carried out. Heparin AbZ 60,000 Ointment contains, among other things, heparin sodium as the active substance and must not be used beyond the expiry date.
