The medicine Loratadin axicur 10 mg tablets is used to treat allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever) and urticaria (hives). It contains the active ingredient loratadine, which inhibits the effect of histamine released during allergic reactions. The recommended dosage is one tablet once a day for adults and children over 12 years of age. For children from 2 to 12 years, the dosage is based on body weight. The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to loratadine or any of the other ingredients. Side effects may include headache, nervousness, tiredness, increased appetite, drowsiness and insomnia. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children.
