Loratadine axicur 10 mg tablets are used to treat allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever) and hives. The active substance loratadine belongs to the group of antihistamines and works by inhibiting the effect of the body's own substance histamine. This relieves allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, burning or itchy eyes, itching, reddening of the skin and wheals. The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years is one tablet once a day. For children aged 2 to 12 years with a body weight over 30 kg, the dosage is also one tablet once daily. Loratadine axicur 10 mg tablets are not suitable for children under 2 years of age. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as drowsiness, increased heart rate and headache may occur. If you forget to take the medicine, do not take a double dose but continue taking it at the next prescribed time. Loratadine axicur 10 mg tablets contains the active substance loratadine and lactose monohydrate, maize starch and magnesium stearate as other ingredients. This medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to loratadine or any of the other ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicine.
