Directions for use of the article Ambroxol hydrochloride AL 30 mg/5 ml syrup. Ambroxol hydrochloride AL is a medicinal product belonging to the group of mucolytics (expectorants). It is used to treat respiratory diseases with thick mucus. It can be used in adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age. The recommended dosage varies according to the age of the patient. The duration of use should not exceed 4-5 days without medical advice. The medicine contains the active substance ambroxol hydrochloride in a concentration of 30 mg per 5 ml syrup. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dry mouth, numbness of the tongue and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin and mucous membrane. The medicinal product should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Furthermore, certain contraindications, such as impaired liver or kidney function, should be noted. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. The medicinal product may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening and should be stored at room temperature.
