Carvomin® digestive drops contain extracts from three proven medicinal plants: angelica root, St. Benedict's herb and peppermint leaves.This combination has a relaxing effect, promotes digestion and relieves flatulence.Angelica root stimulates the digestive juices and has a relaxing effect.Peppermint leaves help with flatulence and calm the stomach.St. Benedict's herb promotes the production of gastric juice, which makes it easier to process food and relieves the feeling of fullness.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in Carvomin® digestive drops are extracts from a mixture of angelica roots, St. Benedict's herb and peppermint leaves.20 ml (18.55 g) of liquid contains 18.55 g of extract (1:4.7-5.3) from 3.71 g of a mixture of these plants.The drops contain 58% alcohol by volume.

Carvomin® digestive drops are traditionally used to support digestive function in adults.They can help with gas, cramps, bloating and loss of appetite.

Dosage and intake

The recommended dose for adults is 45-50 drops (approx. 2 ml) 1-4 times a day.The drops should be taken with a little liquid before meals.If necessary, they can also be taken after meals.The duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks.It is not recommended for young people between 12 and 18 years of age due to insufficient research.Children under 12 years of age should not take the drops.

Contraindications and patient information

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the drops should not be used.If you have gallstones or other diseases of the biliary tract, you should consult a doctor before use.People with reflux should not use the drops as peppermint leaves can increase heartburn.The furocoumarins contained in angelica root can make the skin more sensitive to light, so prolonged sunbathing and intensive UV-radiation should be avoided.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The drops must not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.Women of childbearing age who are not using contraception should carefully consider its use.
