Amorolfin acis 50 mg/ml is a nail varnish for the treatment of fungal nail infections. It contains the active ingredient amorolfine, which penetrates the nail bed and inhibits the growth of the fungi. The nail varnish is applied to the affected nails once a week and should be used until the diseased nails grow back healthily. Before application, the diseased parts of the nail should be filed off and cleaned. After the nail polish has dried, cosmetic nail polish can be applied. The duration of treatment is usually 6 months for fingernails and 9-12 months for toenails. Side effects are usually rare.
