Directions for use of ASS Aristo 100 mg enteric-coated tablets: ASS Aristo 100 mg contains the active substance acetylsalicylic acid, which belongs to the group of antiplatelet drugs. These medicines reduce the risk of blood clots that can lead to heart attacks, strokes and other cardiovascular diseases. The tablets are used to reduce the risk of blood clots forming and to prevent conditions such as heart attacks, strokes and stable or unstable angina. They are also used after certain types of heart surgery. The recommended dosage for adults is 75-150 mg once daily for the prevention of heart attacks, strokes and angina pectoris and after cardiac surgery. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 300 mg. Elderly patients can take the medicine as adults, but with caution as they are more prone to side effects. Children and adolescents under 16 years of age should only take the medicine on a doctor's prescription. The tablets should be taken whole with plenty of liquid. They should not be chewed or crushed.
