Biofanal® for vaginal mycosis vaginal tablets is a remedy for the treatment of vaginal fungal infections that acts specifically against yeast fungi. The vaginal tablets contain the active ingredient nystatin. Excessive proliferation of yeast fungi can lead to symptoms such as itching, burning, redness and swelling in the genital area. Biofanal® has a fungistatic and fungicidal effect against yeast fungi while protecting the physiological vaginal flora. The active ingredient nystatin binds to the fungal cell membrane and thus inhibits the growth of the fungi. Biofanal® is well tolerated and can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is applied by inserting a vaginal tablet into the vagina, either for 3 days or 6 days. Hands should be washed thoroughly before use. Overdose symptoms can hardly occur.
