FRONTLINE TRI-ACT® against ticks, fleas and flying insects on dogs (2-5 kg)

FRONTLINE TRI-ACT® is a modern means of protecting dogs from parasites such as ticks, fleas and flying insects such as mosquitoes and biting flies.It is used as a solution to be applied to the skin and works reliably for up to a month.The product can be used on puppies from 8 weeks of age and 2 kg body weight.It is important to note that this veterinary medicine was developed specifically for dogs and should not be used on cats or rabbits.

Areas of application

FRONTLINE TRI-ACT® is used to treat and prevent flea and/or tick infestations when a repellent effect against sand flies, biting flies and/or mosquitoes is required at the same time.It is effective against various types of fleas, ticks, sand flies, mosquitoes and biting flies.The remedy can also be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis if previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.

Active ingredients and other ingredients

The solution contains the active ingredients fipronil and permethrin as well as the other ingredient butylhydroxytoluene (E321).The exact dosage of the active ingredients depends on the weight of the dog.For dogs weighing 2-5 kg, the volume of the solution is 0.5 ml, with the content of fipronil being 33.8 mg, permethrin being 252.4 mg and butylhydroxytoluene being 0.563 mg.

Application

FRONTLINE TRI-ACT® Is applied by dripping the solution onto the dog's skin.The pipette should be used in two places on the dog's neck that are out of reach of the dog to avoid licking.The solution should be applied directly to the skin, not the fur.Application should be based on confirmed infestation or risk of infestation with fleas and/or ticks.Depending on the infestation pressure of the ectoparasites, repeated treatment may be necessary, with the interval between two treatments being at least 4 weeks.

Special storage instructions

The veterinary medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children and not stored above 25°C.It must be kept in the original container and must not be used after the expiry date stated on the carton.The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
