FRONTLINE Tri-Act is a spot-on solution for dogs that is used to treat and prevent flea and tick infestations.In addition, it has a repellent effect against sand flies, biting flies and mosquitoes to prevent these insects from absorbing blood.

The product is effective against:

Fleas: Treatment and prevention of Ctenocephalides felis infestations and prevention of Ctenocephalides canis infestations.One treatment protects against new flea infestations for up to 4 weeks.It can also be used as part of a flea allergy dermatitis treatment strategy if diagnosed by a veterinarian.

Ticks: Treatment and prevention of infestations by Dermacentor reticulatus, Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus.The treatment kills ticks and has a tick-repellent effect for up to 4 weeks after application.The repellent effectiveness against Dermacentor reticulatus begins on day 7 after treatment and lasts up to 4 weeks.

Biting and sand flies: Has a repellent effect against sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for 3 weeks and against biting flies (Culex pipiens, Aedes albopictus) for 4 weeks.It kills sand flies and mosquitoes for 3 weeks and reduces the risk of Leishmania infantum infection from sand flies for up to 4 weeks.

Biting flies: Repels and kills the common biting fly (Stomoxys calcitrans) for 5 weeks.

Dosage and application

The solution is applied directly to the dog's skin.The appropriate pipette size depends on the weight of the dog.For dogs over 60kg, a combination of two pipettes should be used.

It is applied to two places on the dog's neck that cannot be reached by the animal in order to avoid licking.The pipette is first emptied halfway at the first point and then completely emptied at the second point.
