Dosage

The Beurer BR60 insect bite healer has two different programs.Program 1 is suitable for first-time use and people with sensitive skin, while program 2 is intended for regular use.Slide the EIN/AUS-switch towards the heating plate with the symbol “I” for ON.The device status-LED lights up in blue and signals the readiness of the device.

You can choose between two different application times depending on the sensitivity of the skin.Place the device with the heating plate on the puncture or bite site.For a 3 second application, press the activation button once.The half blue light ring signals the start of the application.This short application time is recommended for initial use or use on sensitive skin.

For a 6-second application, press the activation button twice in quick succession.The blue light ring is completely illuminated and signals the start of the treatment.This application time is recommended for regular use on normal skin.After the application has ended, an acoustic signal sounds, the heating of the heating plate is automatically stopped and the blue light ring goes out.Remove the heating plate from the skin area as soon as the signal sounds.

Notes

If you use it yourself, the person must be older than 12 years.Use in children under 12 years of age should only be carried out under adult supervision or support.

Application

Before each use, make sure that there are no longer any insect stingers in the bite site.Carefully remove the stinger before use.Application immediately after the insect sting or bite brings the best results.If you wait too long to treat the puncture or bite site and itching and swelling have already occurred, the insect bite healer can only have a limited effect.Nevertheless, treat the area with the insect bite healer.The itching can usually be relieved and healing accelerated.

Slide the on/off switch towards the heating plate with the “I” symbol for on.The device status-LED lights up in green and signals the readiness of the device.You have the option to choose two different application times, depending on how sensitive your skin is.Place the device with the heating plate on the puncture or bite site.

For a 3 second application, press the activation button once.The device status-LED signals you with a blue LED that the application is starting.This short application time is recommended for initial use or use on sensitive skin.For a 6-second application, press the activation button twice in quick succession.The device status-LED lights up pink and signals that treatment begins.This application time is recommended for regular use on normal skin.

After the application has ended, an acoustic signal sounds, the heating of the heating plate is automatically stopped and the device status-LED lights up green.Remove the heating plate from the skin area as soon as the signal sounds.If necessary, you can use the heat function of the insect bite healer again on the sting/bite after a break of 2 minutes, or immediately if there is another sting/bite in a different area.The maximum number of 5 applications per hour on the same treatment site must not be exceeded.

If the device is no longer needed, switch it back to “Off” using the on/off switch. This is marked with the symbol “O”.The device status-LED goes out.Before storing, make sure that the device is switched off and the heating plate has cooled down.

Cleaning and care

Follow the following hygiene regulations to avoid any health risks.The device is intended for multiple use.It is recommended to clean the device before first use and before each subsequent use.Before each cleaning, the device must be switched off, cooled down and the batteries removed.Only use soft, dry cloths for cleaning.

Under no circumstances should you use substances for cleaning that could come into contact with the skin or mucous membranes, be swallowed, inhaled or potentially toxic.Do not use harsh cleaning agents and never hold the device under water.Do not clean the device and accessories in the dishwasher.Mechanical cleaning with brushes or the like must be avoided, as this can result in irreparable damage.

If the device is used on multiple puncture or bite sites, it is recommended to clean the heating plate each time.This reduces the possibility of germs and bacteria being transferred from one area of skin to the next.To disinfect the heating plate, use a commercially available alcohol-based disinfectant wipe.
