Ingredients of Salvysat 300 mg film-coated tablets: The active ingredient is sage leaf dry extract.One film-coated tablet contains 300 mg dry extract of sage leaves (4-7:1), with water serving as the extractant.The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable), hypromellose, macrogol 4000, titanium dioxide (E171) and iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O (E172).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Adults take one film-coated tablet three times a day with a little water.Three film-coated tablets correspond to 900 mg sage leaf dry extract.Due to the thujone content, the film-coated tablets should not be taken for longer than 14 days.

Intake

The film-coated tablets are intended to be taken with a little water.

Patient information

There are no adequately documented studies on the use of this medicine in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Therefore it should not be used in this age group.

Pregnancy

There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.For this reason and because of the thujone content, the preparation should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
