Directions for use of the article Salvysat 300 mg Film-Coated Tablets. Salvysat 300 mg is a herbal medicinal product used for the treatment of increased perspiration. It contains the active substance dry extract of sage leaves. Before taking Salvysat 300 mg, the increased sweating should be clarified by a doctor. Salvysat 300 mg must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to sage leaves and preparations or any of the other ingredients. Children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not use the medicine, as there are no sufficiently documented studies for this age group. No studies have been carried out on interactions with other medicinal products. However, if other medicines are taken, the doctor or pharmacist should be told. Salvysat 300 mg should not be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes, itching, hives and swelling may occur when taking Salvysat 300 mg. In this case, the medicine should not be taken again. The medicine should be kept at room temperature below 25°C. The recommended dosage for adults is one film-coated tablet three times a day with a little water. The medicine should not be taken for longer than 14 days. Side effects may occur, although not everybody gets them. If you experience any side effects, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist. The film-coated tablets are ochre yellow and domed on both sides with a breaking groove. They are available in packs of 30, 2 x 30 and 90 film-coated tablets. Important information is that the medicine contains lactose and should therefore be used with caution if you have an intolerance to certain sugars. Possible interactions with other medicinal products should also be taken into account. The medicinal product should be protected from heat and stored in the dark.
