Gynella Flora Meno is a medical product in tablet form for vaginal use. It contains live Lactobacillus acidophilus, lactic acid and soy isoflavones. The product is effective for temporary changes in vaginal flora, such as smelly leucorrhoea caused by non-specific vaginitis. It can be used as an adjunct to antimicrobial therapy to restore vaginal bacterial flora and create physiological conditions of the vaginal microenvironment. Gynella Flora Meno is recommended to be used one tablet daily for 10 consecutive days, preferably before bedtime. Treatment can be continued for up to 20 days. Repeated cycles may be used. The tablet should be carefully removed from the packaging and inserted deep into the vagina. It is not recommended to use the product before puberty, to exceed the recommended dosage or to use the product for longer than 30 days. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted. The product must not be used if the original packaging is damaged or if there is hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. The tablets contain Lactobacillus acidophilus, lactic acid and standardised soybean extract. Other ingredients are mannitol, starch, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, glyceryl behenate and silicon dioxide. The medical product is available over-the-counter and can be purchased in pharmacies.
