Replens pH vaginal gel is a hormone-free product that is used to prevent and treat bacterial vaginosis.The gel has a patented, bioadhesive formulation that forms a protective film on the vaginal wall and normalizes the vaginal pH value for a long time.This restores the natural bacterial balance in the vagina and eliminates symptoms such as intimate odor, changed discharge, itching and burning.

By stabilizing healthy vaginal pH, Replens pH effectively prevents the (re)occurrence of vaginal infections.Its use is particularly recommended after treatment with antibiotics or systemic antibiotic therapy to restore the vaginal pH balance.The gel can also be used as a follow-up treatment for vaginal fungus (e.g. Candida).

Replens pH can be used at any time of the day, but not during menstruation.The ready-to-use disposable applicators enable easy and hygienic insertion into the vagina.The gel is very well tolerated and can also be used during pregnancy.It does not affect the safety of condoms made of (natural rubber) latex, polyisoprene and polyurethane.

Replens pH is hormone-free, paraben-free and hypoallergenic.It contains no fragrances, dyes, deodorants and microplastics.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

Bacterial vaginosis is often caused by an imbalanced pH value that imbalances the vaginal environment.This leads to the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria, while the lactobacilli that normally reside there are displaced.Replens pH vaginal gel adheres to the mucous membrane and ensures a healthy vaginal environment, preventing the new colonization of pathogenic bacteria.It supports the normal colonization of lactobacilli and the normalization of the pH value.

Increased vaginal pH can be influenced by various factors, including menstruation, hormonal changes during pregnancy or menopause, vaginal douching, and the use of hygiene products such as sprays or scented panty liners.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

Replens pH vaginal gel contains the following ingredients: Purified water, glycerin, polycarbophil, carbomer homopolymer type B, benzyl alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, sodium hydroxide and tocopherol (vitamin E).The gel is clear and colorless.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Replens pH vaginal gel is used as follows:

1. Remove the applicator from the sealed outer packaging.Do not remove the tip of the applicator at this time.Hold the applicator by the thicker end and shake it vertically four times to get the contents of the applicator to the thin end.

2. Snap off the applicator cap and discard it.Do not use scissors or other sharp objects to remove the applicator tip.

3. Insert the open end of the applicator carefully and as deeply as possible into the vagina, whether sitting, standing or lying on your back with your knees drawn up.

4. Press firmly on the thicker end of the applicator two to three times to allow the gel to come out.Then pull the applicator out of the vagina and throw it away.

Note: The applicator is designed to deliver the recommended amount of moisturizing gel.If handled correctly, a residual amount of gel will remain in the applicator after use.Discard this excess gel along with the applicator.The applicators are intended for single use only.Do not use the applicator multiple times as reusability has not been studied.

Notes

Replens pH vaginal gel should not be used during menstruation as it can combine with menstrual blood and form clumps.The gel does not contain any spermicidal agent and therefore does not protect against unwanted pregnancy.

Store at room temperature (15°C - 30°C).For vaginal use only.Discontinue treatment if there is a burning sensation in the vagina.If the symptoms persist, please talk to your doctor.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.Avoid contact with eyes and ears.Keep out of the reach of children!Do not use on children!

Each applicator is individually packaged. Do not use this product if an applicator is unpacked or the case is torn or missing.
