Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg film-coated tablets contain the active substance levocetirizine dihydrochloride. They are used to treat allergic rhinitis (including persistent allergic rhinitis) and hives (urticaria). The film-coated tablets are taken unchewed with water and can be taken with or separately from meals. The recommended dose for adults and children over 6 years of age is one film-coated tablet per day. In the case of impaired kidney and liver function, the dose is adjusted accordingly. The duration of use depends on the symptoms and is determined by the doctor. Side effects may include headache, dry mouth, tiredness and abdominal pain. The medicine contains lactose and should therefore be used with caution in case of intolerance. Before treatment with Levocetirizine Micro Labs, possible interactions with other medicines should be clarified.
