Directions for use of Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg Film-Coated Tablets: Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg Film-Coated Tablets contain the active substance levocetirizine dihydrochloride. This medicine is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including persistent allergic rhinitis, and hives (urticaria). The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with water, regardless of meals. The recommended dose for adults and children 6 years and older is one film-coated tablet per day. The dose may be adjusted if kidney or liver function is impaired. Use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended. There are some contraindications to the use of Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg Film-Coated Tablets, including hypersensitivity to the active substance or other components of the medicine and severe renal impairment. During pregnancy or lactation, consultation with a doctor should be made before use. With regard to side effects, dry mouth, headache, tiredness, abdominal pain and diarrhoea may occur when taking Levocetirizine Micro Labs 5 mg Film-Coated Tablets. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in the event of any disturbances of well-being or changes occurring during treatment. In addition to the active substance levocetirizine dihydrochloride, the composition of the film-coated tablets also contains lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate and opadry white. The medicinal product should be stored at room temperature and kept away from children. It should not be used after the expiry date.
