Vliwasorb^® sensitive is a superabsorbent with a silicone layer that was specially developed for moderately to heavily exuding wounds.Thanks to its high absorption capacity and strong retention capacity, even under compression, this wound dressing protects the wound and the surrounding skin from maceration.The multi-layer structure supports fluid management and creates an optimal, moist wound environment, which accelerates the healing process.Binding the exudate in the dressing reduces the number of bacteria and removes them when changing the dressing.The soft, self-adhesive silicone layer ensures a comfortable and easy application process.Thanks to its stable shape retention, even when used vertically, Vliwasorb^® sensitive offers a high level of patient comfort and protects clothing and bed linen from getting wet through a practical protective layer.

Areas of application

Vliwasorb^® sensitive is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, decubitus ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and dehiscence postoperative wounds.
