Vliwasorb® sensitive

Vliwasorb® sensitive is a superabsorbent with a silicone layer that was specially developed for moderately to heavily exuding wounds.The bandage is characterized by a high absorption capacity and excellent retention, even under compression.This protects the wound and surrounding skin from maceration and promotes an optimal moist wound environment that accelerates the healing process.

By binding the exudate in the wound dressing, the number of bacteria is reduced and removed when the dressing is changed.The soft wound contact layer made of silicone is self-adhesive, which makes application particularly comfortable and easy.The stable dimensional stability, even when used vertically, ensures increased patient comfort.In addition, the practical laundry protection layer prevents clothing and bed linen from getting wet.

Areas of application

Vliwasorb® sensitive is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, decubitus ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and dehiscence postoperative wounds.

Properties

The bandage allows for atraumatic and painless removal.It protects the wound and the wound surroundings and has a high absorption and retention capacity, even under compression.By binding the exudate in the superabsorbent, the number of bacteria is reduced.Stable dimensional stability, even when used vertically, is guaranteed by the compressed superabsorbent layer.
