Vliwasorb^® sensitive

Vliwasorb^® sensitive is a superabsorbent wound dressing with a silicone layer that was specially developed for moderately to heavily exuding wounds.The bandage is characterized by a high absorption capacity and high retention capacity, even under compression.This protects the wound and surrounding skin from maceration and promotes an optimal moist wound environment that accelerates the healing process.By binding the exudate in the dressing, the number of bacteria is reduced and removed when the dressing is changed.The soft, self-adhesive silicone layer ensures a comfortable and easy application process.The stable shape retention, even when used vertically, increases patient comfort and protects clothing and bed linen from getting wet through a practical protective layer.

Product composition

The Vliwasorb^® sensitive consists of silicone, non-woven fabric, polyacrylate and cellulose.

Areas of application

The dressing is suitable for moderate to heavily exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and dehiscence post-operative wounds.

Properties

The most important properties of Vliwasorb^® sensitive include atraumatic and painless removal, protection of the wound and the wound surroundings, high absorption and retention capacity even under compression, the reduction in the number of bacteria by binding the exudate in the superabsorbent and stable shape retention, even when used vertically.
