Vliwasorb® sensitive

Vliwasorb® sensitive is a superabsorbent wound dressing with a silicone layer that is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds.Thanks to its high absorption capacity and high retention capacity, even under compression, the bandage protects the wound and the wound surroundings.This reduces the risk of maceration.The multi-layered structure facilitates fluid management and creates an optimal moist wound environment, which contributes to faster wound closure.By binding the exudate in the wound dressing, the number of bacteria is reduced and removed when the dressing is changed.The soft silicone wound contact layer is self-adhesive and ensures comfortable and easy application.The stable dimensional stability, even when used vertically, offers increased patient comfort and a feeling of security.The practical laundry protection layer protects clothing and bed linen from getting wet.

The bandage is made of silicone, non-woven fabric, polyacrylate and cellulose.

Areas of application

Vliwasorb® sensitive is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, decubitus ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and dehiscence postoperative wounds.

Properties

The dressing is characterized by atraumatic and painless removal.It protects the wound and the wound surroundings and has a high absorption and retention capacity, even under compression.By binding the exudate in the superabsorbent, the number of bacteria is reduced.Stable dimensional stability, even when used vertically, is guaranteed by the compressed superabsorbent layer.
