Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drops gel is a product used for intensive and lasting moisturisation of the eye surface in wetting disorders such as dry, irritated or burning eyes. It also relieves irritation caused by external influences such as dry or air-conditioned environments, smoke, dust and pollen. The gel can also be used after surgical procedures on the eye and is compatible with dimensionally stable or soft contact lenses. Dosage is usually recommended with application 4 times daily. It is recommended to use with clean hands and to keep the dropper tip away from the eyes and fingers to avoid contamination of the solution. The gel can be stored refrigerated and dry and can be used for 6 months after opening. It contains sodium hyaluronate and other ingredients such as sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate, chlorides and sodium hydrogen carbonate. Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drop gel is free of preservatives and is suitable for both soft and hard contact lenses. It is available in a practical 10 ml squeeze bottle, which is easy to handle and also suitable for on the go. It is safe and easy to use as there is no movement or pressure towards the eye when instilled. One drop per eye is usually sufficient, as the eye cannot absorb more fluid. The eyelids automatically distribute the fluid in the eye and excess fluid flows out of the eye. Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drops gel moisturises dry eyes, is preservative-free and provides refreshment for the eyes.
