When we have dry, irritated or red eyes, we want one thing above all: moisture and quick relief.Hyaluron-ratiopharm® gel eye drops with 0.3% hyaluronic acid moisten the eyes intensively and sustainably for moderate to severe and chronic complaints.Since they are free of preservatives, they are gentle on the eyes and protect against further damage.These eye drops are also suitable for contact lens wearers and can be used several times a day as needed.

Area of application

Hyaluron-ratiopharm® gel eye drops are ideal for dry, irritated or itchy eyes caused by external influences or after eye surgery.Tears may be disrupted, causing eye pain or a foreign body sensation.Hyaluronic acid acts as a humectant and binds up to five times its weight in water.It stabilizes the tear film and supports cell regeneration.The eye drops are highly dosed with 0.3% hyaluronic acid and contain other ingredients that occur in natural tear fluid.The thin hydrogel sits comfortably on the eye and protects against further damage.

Hyaluron-ratiopharm® gel eye drops contain the following active ingredients: 3 mg sodium hyaluronate per milliliter.Other ingredients include sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphates, chlorides (potassium, calcium, magnesium), sodium hydrogen carbonate and purified water.The eye drops are sterile and free of preservatives.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Hyaluron-ratiopharm® Gel eye drops can be used as needed.In general, it is recommended to use it four times a day.The eye drops are dripped onto the surface of the eye or introduced into the conjunctival sac.The application is easy and safe thanks to the practical squeeze bottle.

Application

Before first use, the tamper-evident cap should be removed.Remove the cap before each use and replace it after use, avoiding contact with the dropper tip.Tilt your head back slightly and hold the bottle with the dropper opening vertically downwards over your eye.Open your eye carefully with your thumb and forefinger or pull the lower eyelid down slightly.By gently pressing the middle of the bottle, 1-2 drops are applied to the surface of the eye or into the conjunctival sac.The eye drops can be used while wearing hard or soft contact lenses.

Notes

If you also use eye drops or eye ointments, an interval of 30 minutes should be maintained.If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.Keep the product out of the reach of children.Immediately after use, visual acuity may be temporarily impaired.The eye drops should not be used if the bottle is damaged.They should be stored at room temperature and not frozen.After opening they can be used for six months.They should no longer be used after the expiry date.Dispose of the product according to local regulations.
