remove as much as possible of the heavily keratinised areas with a commercially available disposable nail file. During the application period, you should remove the complete lacquer layer once a week with an enclosed or commercially available alcohol swab. During this process, you should also remove as much horny material as possible from the nail plate with a disposable nail file. If the lacquer layer is damaged between two applications, it is sufficient if you only coat the chipped areas with sufficient CICLOPIROX ADGC . The duration of treatment depends on the extent of the infection, but should not exceed 6 months. It is recommended that you carefully close the cap of the bottle after each application to prevent the solution from drying out. The solution must not come into contact with the screw thread of the bottle, as this may cause the cap to stick. If you have used a larger amount of CICLOPIROX ADGC than you should, no overdoses have been reported. If you forget to use CICLOPIROX ADGC , do not use twice the amount but continue the treatment as recommended by your doctor. If you stop treatment with CICLOPIROX ADGC before your nails have healed or their appearance has improved significantly and healthy nails have grown back, the fungus may not have healed completely and the condition of your nails may deteriorate again.

Side effects

Possible side effects of CICLOPIROX ADGC 80 mg/g active nail polish (pack size: 3.3 ml):

Contact dermatitis (allergic skin reactions that only occur with repeated use), skin redness, skin flaking or peeling (exfoliation)

If you notice any disturbance or change in your condition during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

For the information at this point, mainly side effects that occur in at least one in 1,000 treated patients are taken into account.

Storage

The medicinal product must be stored away from heat. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated. After first opening, use within 6 months. The medicinal product is flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame. Do not dispose of the medicine in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it.
