The FELIWAY® FRIENDS starter kit for cats includes a plug-in vaporizer and a 48 ml bottle, which is sufficient for around 30 days and covers an area of up to 70 m².This product is available without a prescription.

The first positive changes can be observed after just one week.It is recommended to use the vaporizer for at least a month.In the case of long-term conflicts, an application of up to three months may make sense.

How it works

In nature, mother cats produce a special pheromone that gives their kittens a feeling of safety and security.This pheromone promotes the harmonious bond between mother and offspring. FELIWAY® FRIENDS is a synthetic copy of this pheromone and has a similar calming effect on cats of all ages.The release of the pheromone improves the social bond between the cats in the household.

Areas of application

FELIWAY® FRIENDS can be used for obvious conflict behavior such as fighting, chasing, fleeing, hissing, screaming and growling.The product can also be helpful for more subtle conflict behaviors such as blocking the way, staring, avoiding and hiding.

If, in addition to tensions and conflicts, urine or scratch marks also occur, the FELIWAY® CLASSIC vaporizer or the FELIWAY® CLASSIC spray can also be used.To reunite cats that have previously lived without conflict or tension, it is recommended to plug in the FELIWAY® CLASSIC vaporizer a week before the new cat arrives.

The FELIWAY® FRIENDS starter set contains an analogue of the cat relaxation pheromone (C.A.P.) in a concentration of 2% as well as isoparaffinic hydrocarbon.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

To use the vaporizer, twist the bottle into the vaporizer and plug it into the power outlet.Leave the vaporizer plugged in for the full 30 days.It is recommended to place the vaporizer in the room where cats spend most of their time and where conflicts occur most often.If the cats have separate sleeping places in different rooms or spend a lot of time apart from each other, using multiple vaporizers may make sense.

Each evaporator covers a living space of 50-70 m².To continuously support your cats and reinforce the desired behavior, you can replace the empty bottle with a new FELIWAY® FRIENDS refill bottle after 30 days.The evaporator should be replaced every 6 months.

The FELIWAY® products can be combined with any type of therapy or medication and are suitable for cats of all ages.Long-term use is possible.When the next bottle change is necessary can be recorded in the calendar using the sticker on the bottle.

The vaporizer should not be used under an electrical appliance, under furniture, under anything attached to a wall, or with a power strip or extension cord.
