Directions for use of the article Doppelherz aktiv Fett-Binder Kapseln: Doppelherz aktiv Fett-Binder Kapseln is a class IIa medical device certified in accordance with the provisions of Directive 93/42/EWG . The active ingredient OMTEC 50® contained has a high lipid-binding capacity and reduces fat and calorie intake from food. The capsules should be taken to support a weight-reducing diet or for weight control in combination with a fat-conscious diet. OMTEC 50® forms a gel-like substance in the stomach that binds the fat from food and excretes it undigested. The recommended dosage is 2-3 capsules twice daily before a main meal. The capsules should not be chewed or broken. Doppelherz Fett-Binder should not be taken for more than 30 days in a row and can be resumed after a 4-day break. Side effects may include temporary malaise, nausea and constipation. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking it. Interactions with other medicines may occur. Doppelherz Fett-Binder is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. The capsules should be stored in a dry and dark place at room temperature.
