Areas of application

This herbal medicine is used for inflammation of the mouth and throat and for wound treatment.It can be used internally and externally.It is used internally to treat inflammatory changes in the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.Externally it is used to treat wounds, including those with poor healing tendencies, as well as lower leg ulcers.

No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage and application

The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed the product differently.Please adhere to the application instructions, otherwise the product will not work properly.

For use in the mouth area, you should rinse or gargle with a warm infusion 2-3 times a day.To treat wounds, prepare compresses with an infusion 2-3 times a day.If you have any questions about dosage or application, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Preparation of the infusion

To prepare the infusion, add 1 tablespoon full (approx. 0.8-1.6 g) of marigold flowers to boiling water (approx. 150 ml).Let the infusion steep for about 10-15 minutes and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer.

Contraindications

To date there are no known contraindications.

Patient information

There is no sufficient experience with use during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.Therefore, its use is not recommended in these cases.
