Instructions for use for DYNEXAN Oral gel, 2X10 g

Directions for use: - Dynexan mouth gel is an analgesic gel based on lidocaine hydrochloride. - It is used for the temporary, symptomatic treatment of pain in the oral mucosa, gums and lips. - The duration of use should not exceed one week. If the symptoms persist for longer, a doctor should be consulted. - Adults can apply the gel 4-8 times a day to the painful areas in the oral cavity. - The total dose should not exceed 40 mg lidocaine. - When cylindrical ampoules are used by the dentist, the gel is introduced into the alveoli and gingival pockets with a special cannula. - Children should use a pea-sized amount of the gel no more than 4 times a day. - The gel should be used within 3 months of opening. - Persons with hypersensitivity to ingredients of the gel or other local anaesthetics should not use it. - Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. - The package leaflet should be read before use and a doctor or pharmacist consulted if there are any questions.
