Avitale CALCIUM SONNE is a dietary supplement based on calcium, beta-carotene and vitamins C, D3 and E. It contains 500 mg calcium, 6 mg beta-carotene, 120 mg vitamin C, 18 mg vitamin E and 5 µg vitamin D3 per daily dose. The product helps to prepare the skin for the sun. Beta-carotene contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and vitamin E protects the cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin D and calcium have a function in cell division. Intake is recommended one month before exposure to the sun and may also be useful at times of high UV-radiation or when visiting southern countries. The recommended intake is 1x daily 2 capsules after a meal. It should be noted that the product should not be taken at the same time as thyroid hormones and that a time interval of at least 2 hours should be observed. Smokers should discuss the use with their doctor and should not exceed six to eight weeks of use. Persons with a tendency to kidney stones or kidney disease should consult their physician before use.
