Test principle: - The ZAMED® Terra Trust Pregnancy Test is a rapid chromatrographic immunoassay for the qualitative determination of hCG in urine to aid in the early detection of pregnancy. - The test uses a combination of antibodies to detect elevated levels of hCG. - The test is performed by placing a urine sample into the sample well of the test device and observing the formation of pink lines. Materials TÜV SÜD su ZAMEDpplied: - ZAMED® Terra Trust Pregnancy Test - Directions for use Main components: - Use of a fresh urine sample, no special pre-treatment required. - Samples may be refrigerated or frozen. - Before testing, refrigerated samples must be brought to room temperature and mixed thoroughly. - Frozen samples must be completely thawed, brought to room temperature and thoroughly mixed. Test procedure: - Equilibrate test and sample to room temperature. - Open test kit and remove cap. - Hold tip of absorbent pad in urine stream or immerse absorbent pad in urine. - Lay test flat and wait for coloured bands to appear (5-10 minutes). Interpretation of results: - Positive: Two pink lines in the result window. The test detects the pregnancy hormone hCG at a concentration of 10 mlU/ml or more. - Negative: One pink line in the control window. The test does not detect hCG at a concentration of 10 mlU/ml or more. - Invalid: No line in the window or only one coloured test line. The test is invalid.
