Visc-Ophtal is an eye gel with the active ingredient carbomer.It is used to replace tear fluid in the event of impaired tear production and for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

1 Gram of eye gel contains 2 milligrams of carbomer.The other ingredients are cetrimide, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment and water for injections.

Dosage and application

Dry eye therapy requires individual dosage.Depending on the severity and severity of the symptoms, 1 drop should be dripped into the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times a day or more often and before going to bed.The tube should be held vertically when dripping to achieve a comfortable drop size.To use, pull your eyelid down slightly while looking up.

Contraindications

Side effects
