Instructions for use of Sabalvit Uno capsules

Sabalvit Uno capsules are a herbal medicine that is used for problems with urination due to a benign enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia).The active ingredient in these capsules is a thick extract from saw palmetto fruits.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Sabalvit Uno is used for micturition problems in stages I to II according to Alken or II to III according to Vahlensieck.It is important to note that treatment with Sabalvit Uno should only be carried out after a confirmed diagnosis and under medical supervision.The medication relieves the symptoms, but does not eliminate the enlargement of the prostate.If you experience symptoms such as blood in the urine, urinary tract infection, worsening of symptoms or acute urinary retention, you should consult a doctor immediately.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each Sabalvit Uno soft capsule contains 320 mg thick extract of saw palmetto fruits (9-11:1), using ethanol 96% (V/V) as the extractant.The capsule also contains the excipients gelatin polysuccinate, glycerol 85%, purified water, titanium dioxide (E 171) and iron (III) oxide hydrate, black (E 172).

Dosage and application

The recommended dosage is one soft capsule once daily, which should be taken whole after meals with plenty of liquid, preferably a glass of water.The duration of treatment is determined by the attending physician.In the event of an overdose, immediate action is usually not necessary, but the doctor should be informed.If a dose is missed, the next dose should be taken as usual without doubling the dose.

Contraindications

Sabalvit Uno must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to saw palmetto fruits or any of the other ingredients.The medicine is not intended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.It is not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Sabalvit Uno can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Occasionally, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach or abdominal pain or diarrhea may occur.In rare cases, allergic or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.Bleeding may occur when taken at the same time as certain medications.

Interactions

Storage
